I am directing a documentary that explores my family’s activities, culture, history, and artistic legacy, with a particular focus on renowned Korean artist Kim Tschang-Yeul. Through interviews with family members, I am documenting their personal experiences and examining how art, memory, and creative influence have been passed down across generations.

The project allows me to use filmmaking not only to preserve my family’s stories, but also to understand how individual memories come together to form a larger family narrative.
